Kellie graduated from Sonoma State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and a minor in Computer Science. During her studies at Sonoma State, Kellie completed an internship where she worked with at-risk and incarcerated youth with a focus on positive life changes including ways to cope with stress, college preparation, and anger management practices. After graduating from Sonoma State, Kellie was hired as a Deputy Sheriff and successfully completed the police academy in December of 2017. She spent approximately seven years in law enforcement where she held various positions within the department and always maintained a strong passion for officer health and wellness. Kellie is a certified Domestic Violence Counselor and a certified Sexual Assault Victim's Counselor, and looks forward to utilizing her unique training and experience to support the students at Sonoma State.
