Isa received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. Her training and experience includes working in community mental health and several Bay Area college counseling centers. She has a special interest in providing relational and integrative psychotherapy from a place of cultural humility. Isa supports students by helping them gain insight about their intersecting identities, highlighting strengths, and encouraging resilience. Working collaboratively, she helps students cope with stressors, engage in recovery from trauma, and feel more empowered in themselves and their relationships. She assists students with a variety of concerns including adjustment to college, cultural and identity concerns, relationship and family issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss. Her other clinical and professional interests include working with first-generation, LGBTQ+, and historically marginalized students, mindfulness, spirituality and psychology, self-care, social justice, and training/mentorship.
