Courtney received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and completed part of her early training at Santa Rosa Junior College providing psychotherapy to students. She later completed her pre-doctoral internship with ANKA BHI, at a crisis residential facility and at a homeless shelter in the East Bay. Courtney has training and experience in providing short and long term treatment for clients with a wide variety of presenting problems including (but not limited to) trauma ,substance abuse, and acute psychosis. Courtney's clinical interests include working with those affected by trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as substance abuse. Courtney has a passion for incorporating mindfulness interventions into her practice as well as social justice advocacy.
